Keller, Nancy and Swaney, Deanna. Tonga, Lonely Planet Guidebook.
What's the Kava drink and what's the recipe for Tongan Lu Pulu? These
anecdotal text inserts (marked throughout the book by borders of flower
graphics) soften the straight forward, factual coverage of Tonga.
The book is very comprehensive, easy to use and easy to read. Extremely
useful guidebook.

'Utulei, My Tonga Home, are both entertaining reads by an
American woman (teacher) who made Vava'u her home in the 1950's.
